The Latex Dolls are a group of women who live and treat bondage and Latex encasement like a religion. Some Dolls are so involved that they have had their bonds welded shut and their suits sealed to their bodies. Most Dolls, however, shed their latex skin and return to the normal world to recruit others into the fold.

The Way of the Latex Dolls came from the original Doll #1. She taught her followers to focus on reaching inner peace and satisfaction by worshipping the Latex and serving the community. Strict rules, bondage, and Latex encasement are a means to help the Dolls focus. Instead of struggling for power and wealth, they give away their identity and humbly wear their bondage. When they wander the world of SL, they draw attention to themselves with their strict uniform, and not only do they spread the word about the Way of the Latex Dolls, but most of all they spread friendliness, kindness and provide helpful advice to the inhabitants of SL.

The Dolls reside in a Space Station that is called Latexia by them. The Station consists of different sections that can be changed to the needs of the new environment. Although some parts of it that relate to the ancient beginnings of the cult remains forever unchanged and well guarded against outsiders.

The Dolls remain in there station, in an airtight environment, while practicing the Way of the Dolls. While there, they learn more about being a Doll and engage in all sorts of needed functions in the community. The station includes large areas for relaxation, a mall, and a club to socialize with the inhabitants of the orbited planet. There are also areas that are only for the Sisters. These areas hold many machines and devices to help train and stimulate the Dolls to strengthen their bond with one another.

After exhausting daily duties of worship and community service, the Sisters return to the safety of their sleeping chambers to renew themselves for the coming day.

Somewhere in the dark ages between the 21st and the 22nd century, a female archaeologist found an old burial chamber deep in the jungles of South America.

The Dolls live on a Space Station called Latexia, which moves from planet to planet to teach the people the Way of the LatexDolls. The Dolls wander around the planet; the planet's inhabitants are invited to visit the station, become interested in fetish items and discussions, and once in a while, a visitor is so fascinated by the Way that they want to become Dolls themselves.
